Nature’s best: Proteins of Cannabis sativa seeds!

Hemp seeds and their impeccable ingredients for superior health!

Today more and more people dies from cardio vascular diseases, and their number only increases.

Every year more people get sick with cancer!

Also, It has been noticed a weakened immunity of the population to viral and bacterial infections, and the cause of it, as well as in the previously mentioned diseases, is primarily to look for in – Improper Nutrition, based on the excessive use of animal products (especially meat and milk).

As demonstrated more than two decades long scientific experiment “China Study” (The China Study), conducted by Dr. T. Colin Campbell, under the patronage of prominent academic institutions such as Oxford University , Cornell University and also the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine – A diet rich in animal products is one of the main causes of morbidity from cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and many other diseases.

In addition to almost all known information that with the consumation of animal products (meat, milk, eggs), we enter into our body bad saturated fat and cholesterol, “The China Study” also showed that animal proteins are harmful to human health, and that their consumption is directly related to many diseases.

Unfortunately, many people today, in addition to a number of scientific evidence, believe that the plant-based diet is incomplete and that it is especially low in some essential (necessary) amino acids (building blocks of protein). The fact is, however, that balanced and properly combined plant-based diet fully meets the needs for essential amino acids, as well as many plant foods, contain such amino-acid composition, which are of the quality of plain meat, milk or eggs.
The great publicity that followed the soy (soya bean) of the past decades has also led to the misconception that soy is the only plant with protein composition that can “compete” animal products. The truth is that other plant foods contain all essential amino acids with the necessary ratio, and these plants represent a complete protein. Into these foods is the hemp seed, which is gaining popularity, not only because of its protein content but also because of the ideal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in its composition. Omega 3 fatty acids are fundamental for the health of the heart and blood vessels, can be found in significant amounts even in oily fish and flaxseed. Unfortunately, the fish is more contaminated by heavy metals, while flaxseed and soybeans contain substantial amounts of phytoestrogens – substances that, according to some opinions, can disrupt the hormonal balance in the body.
Hemp seed, therefore, stood out as unique food containing a high quality, complete protein and healthy omega-3 fatty acids, many minerals and for better digestion useful fibers – while in itself has no phytoestrogens or any other harmful substances. Let us look into more detail in the composition of this magical seeds of almost forgotten plants – Cannabis sativa.

Proteins of Cannabis sativa seeds and the construction of life and immunity

There are eight amino acids that our body can not produce and two more that our body cannot synthesized in sufficient quantity. These amino acids are called “essential” (necessary), and they must be entered through food, while the diet without some of them will eventually cause illness and even – death. These essential amino acids, along with the other 11 that the body can make, are each connected in proteins.
Among plant foods, hemp seed is not unique in that it has all the essential acids in the necessary amount to be considered as a complete protein. Soy, spinach, pumpkin seeds or flaxseed also contain all the essential amino acids. What makes it a unique protein of hemp seeds is that it makes 65% globulin edestin. Unlike fibrous proteins, which have only the function of constitutive, the globular proteins have a role in the appropriate functioning of many of the key processes in the body. Edestin in hemp seeds is the globular (biologically active) protein; the human body uses it to build antibodies (immune globulin) – or in short: the immune system, or the body’s resistance to infection. The body’s capability to resist and recover from disease depends on how fast the body can produce huge amounts of antibodies to ward off the first attack. If there is not sufficient starting material – globulin proteins to supply the “army” of antibodies, the body succumbs to diseases. Edestin is also used to build hormones, hemoglobin, and is considered as the backbone of the cell’s DNA. Edestin, in addition to all this, has a low phosphorus content and does not burden the kidneys, as do the phosphorus-rich proteins in foods of animal origin, as well as in some legumes. What is unique about hemp, besides that contains 65% edestin, is the fact that the rest of the protein in it is albumin, other type of protein, the same which is located in the egg white. Albumins are the main proteins in blood plasma and play a key role in many important chemical processes.
Hence, it can be said that hemp seed provides the body all the essential amino acids necessary for maintaining good health.

Fat in hemp seed

About 5% of the weight of the hemp seed makes oil hemp seeds. Most of the hemp seed oil consists of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (80%). These fatty acids, known as omega-3 and omega-6, can not be produced in the human body and must be provided through the diet, and is therefore called essential fatty acids. These are the most significant fatty acids in human nourishment and health. They are involved in generating life energy from food and the movement of this energy through the body. This crucial fatty acids govern growth, vitality, and state of mind. Necessary for the proper functioning of the whole body, especially the brain, retina, inner ear, adrenal glands, and testicles. It is very important interrelationship of this essential fatty in our diet – because too much omega-6 fatty acids can have an adverse effect on the body. Therefore, it is recommended that the ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids is not greater than 4: 1, and smaller ratio is reccomended. In hemp seeds, nature packed omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in the ideal ratio for the human body – 3: 1, so it is extremely useful for the preservation of general health, especially cardiovascular system. Hemp seeds can be considered as an ideal source of valuable omega-3 fatty acids for people who do not want to eat fish (where they are also located, but also destroyed by cooking) – either from the ethical (vegans) or for health reasons (due to pollution of the sea and all greater presence of heavy metals in fish).

CARE AND STORAGE

Shelled hemp seed is very sensitive to contact with oxygen and quickly goes rancid if improperly kept. It is best to keep it in the freezer, tightly closed in a bag, with extruded excess air.

Canah hemp nuts (shelled organic hemp seed)

It has a nice nutty flavor, which resembles a mix of aromas of pine nuts and sunflower. It can be used as a snack, for sprinkling meals or preparing vegetable milk and “milkshakes.” It has 30% of the whole protein and 41% oil with the flawless ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids (3: 1). It is an excellent source of minerals: potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium in particular, that in combination with a quality protein and fatty in hemp seeds gives the body strength needed with extreme physical exertion (sports, stress). Because of its unique nutritional composition is recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers. It contains abundantly vitamin E.

Canah Hemp oil (organic oil from hemp seed)

Perfect, nutty taste of hemp oil enriches many meals. Canah hemp oil is obtained by cold pressing of the seeds of hemp. Special dark glass bottle protects sensitive hemp oil from oxidation. In order to preserve the quality, keep the hemp oil in the fridge. In addition to pure oil products and versions with extracts of basil, chili, and garlic. It comprises 89% of polyunsaturated fatty acids, with the best ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids (3: 1). A remarkable source of vitamin E (100-150 mg / 100g). It is not for cooking, because the heat destroys its valuable composition.

Canah hemp protein powder (protein for athletes of organic hemp seed)

It contains 50% of the total protein, with a 21-amino acid, including 8 essentials. It is easily digested and absorbed, so it does not cause stomach bloating, that is frequent with using classical protein for athletes, based on whey or soy. Unlike the other proteins of athletes, Canah protein powder contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential in sports nutrition supplement. Unlike whey protein (whey) and soy, hemp protein allergy practically is nonexistent. It is without sugar and aspartame. Canah hemp protein powder has no colors, artificial flavors, or preservatives. No gluten and lactose. Unlike many vegan proteins for athletes, which are not labeled as “organic,” Canah protein is not produced using a solvent having a negative effect on the environment and human health. Canah protein for athletes is produced using cold squeezing, is a raw product (raw food) and during its production are not used hexane and other solvents. It is ideal for all athletes, especially vegetarians and vegans.
